The house was stripped down to the shell and rebuilt from within. The property required loft and rear extensions. Its location meant that everything down to the fine detailing had to be to the highest standards. good quality baths and basins, bespoke paint colours, a hand built kitchen and bespoke joinery throughout provided a distinguished yet understated result.
Together with the interior designers, our build team managed to bring the carefully thought out and elegantly assembled designs to reality for a highly discerning private client. Complete property renovation and extensions in Maida Vale

The property is a Victorian terrace house located in Maida Vale with an amazing view at the rear towards the Paddington old cemetery park.
Without an appointed interior designer, we worked directly with the client to translate his own ideas into reality.
The brief for the ground floor was to create an open plan space with plenty of natural light. Usually with London terrace houses configuration, the middle reception room ends up becoming just a passing space to access the enlarged kitchen/dining area. This problem was solved in a clever way by extending the new kitchen/dining space into the middle reception room and creating a set of full width steps the living room to the kitchen area, creating a difference in the levels and also defining the separated areas in the open plan configuration. The well thought-out design maintains a nice flow between living room area, kitchen and dining maximizing the functionality of the space at the same time.
Another interesting feature introduced is the new staircase with a stylish modern glass balustrade which harmonise beautifully with the warm tone of the oak used for the steps.
The loft conversion offers a beautiful view to the park of the Paddington cemetery through the full-length glazed sliding doors at the rear and the roof terrace. This reconnects the owner with nature and offers a break from his busy city life.
