The house was stripped down to the shell and rebuilt from within. Whilst this property didn’t require being overly extended, its location meant that everything down to the fine detailing had to be to the highest standards. marble baths and basins, bespoke paint colours, a hand built kitchen and bespoke joinery throughout provided a distinguished yet understated result.
Together with the interior designers, our build team managed to bring the carefully thought out and elegantly assembled designs to reality for a highly discerning private client. Our wide experience of refurbishment projects in London enabled us to deliver a beautiful renovation and restoration to a tired property on time and on budget. This spectacular house makes all who visit want to settle into the couch and lose themselves in a book by the fire.
Complete property renovation and extension in North Kensington
Kudos were involved with this project from the get go. The clients came to us to assist them in finding a suitable house that they could not only turn into their perfect family home but one that would also be a sound property investment. After almost a year of searching our clients decided on a lovely although very tired Victorian terrace house in the St Helen’s district of North Kensington. The property is a large 5 bedroom terrace house that required a full renovation from the ground up.
We assisted the client to appoint Architect OE who produced planning drawings for the infill extension and (due to the property being in an article four conservation area) the roof and window replacement as well.
Alongside the architect our client also appointed Turner Pocock to provide a comprehensive interior design package that included all interior styling, bespoke furniture and joinery design, interior detailing and kitchen design. Turner Pocock worked in close consultation with the clients – from concept right through to completion – in order to create the most personalised design. Named in the prestigious House & Garden Directory of the 100 Leading Interior Designers and the Sunday Times Top 30 they had a lot to live up to with this project, and we feel they delivered.
